How do I generate Quotes from my file?

Upload your file to Deciphr AI to get quotes from your transcripts.

Updated over a week ago

Here's a simple, step-by-step guide on how to get quotes from your files using Deciphr AI:

Step #1: Visit app.deciphr.ai to log into your account.

Step #2: On the home page, look for the purple "Upload" button in the upper left-hand corner of the page and click it.

Step #3: Great, you’re on the upload page now! Here's how to upload your file:

  • Drag and drop your file into the upload box in the middle.

  • Alternatively, click on the "Browse" button to select your file from your computer.

  • Note: We currently support TXT, DOC, DOCX, MP3, WAV, MP4, MOV, and WebM files.

Step #4: After picking and uploading your file, you'll have the option to trim your audio or video file. When you're satisfied with the trim, click "Continue".

Step #5: Now, you can specify the speakers in your upload. This will make it easier to navigate your transcript later. If there are more than two speakers, click "Add new speaker" until all speakers are noted and labelled for.

Step #6: After entering the speaker names, click "save".

Step #7: Now, just wait for Deciphr AI to process your file. You can check the processing time under "Processing Your File"—and you'll also receive an email from us when your file is ready.

Step #8: Once your file is processed, you can find it on the Library page. Click the card with your file's name to access your list of pulled quotes.

Step #9: On the output page, click the "quotes" tab on the left side under the "Content" menu to get your quotes.

Step #10: You can now copy and paste your quotes into a doc file or notepad. If you want to edit them, click the "Edit" button to the right of the quotes label.
